How to set up

- Signal-only — no broker connection required
- Pair with a manual entry or forward alerts to TradingView Alert Bot for auto-execution
Volume multiplier
RequiredBreakouts must exceed N× the 20-bar average volume. Default 1.8×.
Lookback range
Bars used to define the consolidation box. Default 20.
ATR filter
Rejects breakouts when ATR is below the N-bar median (avoids chop).
Alert timeframe
Any TF — 15m and 1h have the cleanest signal-to-noise.
- 1Load the indicator on 5 major pairs. Note how many signals fire per week — expect 2–6.
- 2Journal the next 30 signals paper before trading real size. Track win rate + avg R.
- 3Combine with a higher-TF trend filter — take longs only above the 200 EMA on the 4h.
- 4Set alerts to your phone; do not stare at charts. The signal fires on bar close.
- 5Never risk more than 0.5% per signal until you have 50+ journal entries.
